Summer Development Program

Dear Tartan High School Hockey Candidate,
Session 1: Any player who will be in 9 & 10th Grade next fall.
This summer the high school staff will again be conducting our Summer Development Program. SDP. The staff will use this opportunity to introduce the players to our systems and to learn our vocabulary relative to our teaching the systems. It will give the player an opportunity to showcase his attitude, work habits, hockey skill and most of all his character.
14 hours ours of actual ice time.

- Each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The session will be 1 1/4 hour long.
- Sunday will be one hour. It will consist of large ice and small ice games.
- Mondays: Extensive shooting, skating and agility drills.
- Wednesdays: Flow drills, position drills, and system drills, etc.
- Fridays: Competition drills: Large Group: BO/Entry/MI Off/MI Def etc.
- Sundays: We will scrimmage: 4 v 4 / 3 v 3 / 5 v 5 etc.
- Mondays: 9:45-11:00am July 9, 16, 23
- Wednesdays: 9:45-11:00am July 11,18, 25
- Fridays: 9:45-11:00am July 13, 20, 27
- Sundays: July 7:15-8:15pm July 15, 22, 29

Session 2: Any player who played on the Varsity or JV last year.

If you are a goaltender you will be offered a different fee. Please inquire.
